Responsibilities:Welcome patients warmly upon arrival, facilitate the check-in and check-out process and provide direction or assistance as neededAssist with registration process and enter all information into the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system with attention to detailAnswer professionally to incoming calls, providing courteous assistance and accurate information to callersSchedule patient appointments effectively to ensure smooth service operationsVerify patient insurance coverage and eligibility, accurately documenting insurance information in the EMR system and communicating any relevant details to patientsAssess and collect payment based on Health Center’s policy and procedureMaintain confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulationsPerform other unit-specific duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree preferredPrevious experience in a dental/medical office setting requiredStrong computer skills required, with proficiency in electronic medical record systems considered a plusExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectivelyKnowledge of medical terminology and insurance procedures is a plusBilingual in English/Chinese highly preferred
