Full-Time Data Reporting & Analytics Specialist

Reports to: Director of IT

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Full stack development of reports, visualizations, data deliverables, and interactive web applications based on user requirements
  • Full stack activities will include ingesting data into SQL Server, creating SQL stored procedures, SQL queries, data sources, Power BI data sets, SSRS reports, PowerBI reports (interactive and paginated), Intranet pages for delivering and acquiring data, and exporting to Excel and other formats.
  • Gather user requirements for reports, visualizations, data deliverables, and interactive web applications from stakeholders throughout the organization
  • Maintenance and modification of existing reports, visualizations, data deliverables, and interactive web applications

Shared Responsibilities:

  • Have or acquire some database administration skills, so they can assist the DBA or step in during the DBA's absence.
  • Have or acquire some knowledge of the data integration and data exchange processes, to assist in DSS tasks.
  • User privilege maintenance within SQL server and front-end reporting tools
  • Backup, disaster recovery planning and maintenance
  • Helpdesk support for users for products supported by the team
  • Participation in preparing presentations to stakeholders on the work of the team
  • Management of the team backlog
  • Participation in group problem solving
  • Availability to share knowledge with other team members

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 5+ years of experience with database management, web development, and reporting tools required
  • Experience with VB, VBScript, Asp.Net, and C#
  • Experience with Business Intelligence
  • Experience in healthcare industry
  • Bilingual in English/Chinese a plus

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Salary: $72,000.00 - 80,000.00 per year
